Live music nights can get busy at The Nest, so during Bike Nights, Sunday Fundays and select Saturday events, our regular kitchen hours and menu may change.

Instead of trying to run our entire everyday menu through a kitchen built for a much smaller crowd, we switch things up. Our goal is simple: good food, shorter waits, and more time enjoying the event instead of waiting on an order.

Depending on the event, you’ll usually see one of these food setups:

🍔 THE NEST OUTDOOR KITCHEN
For select events, we fire up our outdoor serving area with a streamlined menu designed specifically for busy nights.

Our event specials may include:

Hamburgers • Hot Dogs • Hot Sausage with Peppers & Onions • Pulled Pork

Entrées include your choice of one side, with selections such as salt potatoes, mac salad, potato salad, or our Shack Ham Beans — The Nest’s own spin on classic baked beans.

Keeping the menu focused allows us to prepare and serve a lot more food efficiently. 

When inventory and staffing allow, we may also keep our indoor fryers running with selections from our fryer menu, including items such as wings, boneless wings, French fries and sweet potato fries. Availability can vary by event.

🚚 FOOD TRUCK NIGHTS
Other events bring something completely different to The Nest.

We love welcoming local food trucks because they give our customers a chance to try food we don’t normally serve while supporting another local business at the same time.

On some Food Truck nights, the truck will be the featured and primary food option for the event. On others, we may also have selections from our indoor fryer menu available.

WHAT TIME DOES REGULAR MENU CLOSE?
On most Tuesday Bike Nights, our regular kitchen closes around 5 PM, and on most Sunday Fundays, around 3 PM.

That doesn’t mean we’re done serving food — it means we’re changing gears.

Our regular menu works great for a normal day at The Nest. A few hundred people arriving around the same time for live music is a different animal. Our event menus, outdoor kitchen and visiting food trucks allow us to serve a larger crowd faster and more efficiently without sacrificing the experience because everyone is waiting on the kitchen.
